A busy time in the world of Zappy
Well here we go…the festivities are under way…
Our all NEW Zappy Face Painting, Zappy Gift Pack Pot ideas, Zippy n Zappy Party bookings galore…& what else???? oh yes….soon to be launched our brand new ‘Day In the Life Of’ video!! (some serious editting going on in that department though so do be patient please!

Where can we go this weekend Zippy n Zappy?
Well we’ve been very busy here in Zappy world,busier than ever!….so sorry for not keeping you all up to date sooner.
Huge amounts of prep/designing /painting Zappy Pots for orders/showcasing Zapy Pots at Ladies evenings & of course spreading the word about our Zippy n Zappy Parties.
Today we are off to Denzell Gardens on Dunham Road, Altrincham, Cheshire to attend a ‘Waggy Walk’, spomnsered by The Dog Trust. We’ll be running our all NEW Zappy Face Painting. With of course Zappy paw prints & our doggy design. Lots of other typical Zappy designs to choose from of course.
Halloween is soon! even have a spooky spider or a percy pumpkin!
‘Fed and Watered’ their South Manchester branch fromAltrincham are hosting the event today which starts at 1pm until 4 what ever the weather.To find out all about the event & to register for the sponsered Waggy Walk visit http://www.fedandwatered.com

A Festival not to be missed Garden City Festival – Wythenshawe Forum & Town Centre
Morning everyone…….Here are the pics I promised.
After a very early start with a huge stand to put together, always loving the buzz of being involved in this hugely successful Festival. We had a very exciting day.
This year it was bigger & better than EVER before!! Do make a reminder note in your diaries for next year!

Busy Busy time in Zappy World
Well we have lots of catching up to do on here due to only having the use of 1 arm for what seems a long time now. Yet Zippy n Zappy have held the fort as usual!
Here is what we are up to this Bank Holiday Monday the 29th August 6am – 2:30pm
So if you & your family are stuck what to do this Bank Holiday come & say hello to us all & be the first ever in the audience to watch our performances throughout the day.
Cost is just 50p per child over 3 or under 3 + 1 adult. Tickets only. Available from us at the Zippy n Zappy stand right near to the Club House, You won’t miss us!!
Ella & Owen age 9 & 11,the puppeteers have worked extremely hard rehersing & are sooo enthusiatic about their new found fame (We’re planning more ‘Zippy n Zappy Puppet Pals Puppet Shows’ & scripts already, so to see more & our Bank Holiday antics check out our events page @ www.mypaintedpots.co.uk/events.htm

Altrincham Festival News & Views
Well, we’ve been soo busy SINCE the Festival, we’re behind with our blog news. (it’s usually Zippy’s fault!!)
So keep checking us out we will be posting lots of exciting images from the Grand Parade through the streets of Altrincham & Timperely village to the Showground, funny stories & the winners of our Colouring In Competition ran from our stand.
Hale Library is now home to the Festivals Zippy n Zappy Colouring -in competition entries. With the winners also proudly displayed until Friday 15th July. You will find them in the childrens section, so do pop down & have a look.
Well what a fantastic time at Altrincham Festival! The day was a tribute to all the people & local businesses who put 10-12months of unconditional effort & planning into such a huge event. We saw what Altrincham is really made of on Saturday;Festival & Grand Parade Day! A huge togetherness & strength through very difficult times. ‘When the team works the dream so does work’ Well done to everyone concrned including the residents of Altrincham, Timperley,Hale, Hale -Barns, Bowdon,Sale who turned up supported & thoroughly enjoyed the day the day, baking in the hot sunshine we were blessed with.
All ready for the Grand Parade through the streets of Altrincham & Timperely village to the showground! You can just see me Zappy in the background about to loose my balloon!!
& the fun NEVER stops!! Just so you know Haven Holidays Cala Gran site at Fleetwood has finally confirmed our next pot painting dates. We’ll be going up on the 22nd July for the weekend, ooh luxury caravan camping again!!

we are at Easter this year after just arriving, kettle on!
Well we will be in a supa dupa van this time we’ve been told, so looking forward to those pics!

Altrincham Festival Fever is here!
Well, in less than 24 hrs we will be putting up the day tent up on the show ground! I’m very excited to be involved in such a huge & local event, never before entering into the Grand Parade through the streets of Altrincham & Timperely. Having ever run Pot Painting sessions on the Showground before.
Today; final prep day, the weather is fantastic & the forecast is looking great too, A huge day for me & everyone who has worked tirelssley to put Altrincham Festival together over 12 monts, yes a whole 12 months of planning! What do they say…..it’s not the destination, it’s the journey or the ‘getting there’ that counts, as in the preperation of.
Thanks for your responses by email for my request for 2 children as Zippy n Zappy for the day. Twins,a boy & girl came forward, the perfect height & age. Thank you goes to Naomi of http://babylovesdisco.co.uk for customer of hers that suggested her twins. They are sooo excited & only 1 more sleep to go!!! as they have been counting!!
The car has to have a dummy run today washed first & all adorned with bunting & Zippy n Zappy sitting proudley on the bonnet (somewhow!!)minus the balloons that have to be collected spot on 9am in the morn.
The house looks likes a print shop to say the least!
I will report back later in the day (probably around midnight as I see the day going!!)
Right now I need to collect my mini tshirt bunting & all the helpers newly printed tshirts kindly printed by David Caine of http://www.party-tshirts.co.uk based in Broadheath,Altrincham, Cheshire
